UCD Dramsoc 91st Session- Semester 2

Slot Application Form

If you wish to direct a show in the Second Semester of the 91st Session, please
complete & return this form to a member of committee, or to the Dramsoc Office,
and email a copy to secretary@ucddramsoc.com by Monday 27th November at 5pm.
Your proposal will be reviewed by the committee & slots will be allocated following
the slot meeting. If you are unsure as to whom to assign the various positions in this
application, the Dramsoc Committee would be more than happy to assist you.

N.B. Please Attach:

A digital copy of your script.
Two copies of your script with any proposed cuts.
If applying with a devised piece, please send a comprehensive outline of the
structure of the piece, along with its title.
Your overall vision for the show.
Preliminary Set Design and how this relates to your overall vision.
Preliminary Lighting and Sound Design, outlining the concepts underlying these
designs and how they relate to your overall vision
Preliminary Costume and Make-up Design and how this relates to your overall
vision. Also, if using props, please list them.
Image/Idea for poster and other plans for publicity i.e. how do you plan to
publicise the show beyond the usual poster run and how do you think the show
will appeal to a wider student audience?
Preliminary outline of how your budget will be spent
Why would you like to direct this show in Dramsoc?
