- The teachers are nice, they dont just print worksheets they put thought into
what they are teaching

- I like the space and I wouldnt want to go back to the old style of classroom ,
the teachers explain, I understand the words they use, I am happy in this class
- I like what I am learning, sometimes students dont always listen.
- I like being in here, the learning is good and the teachers are nice
- I wouldnt class this as my favourite classroom but I am getting used to it.
Sometimes I think there are too many students. The teachers are nice.
- I like the learning especially the reading.

Observation:
Really lovely atmosphere in the classroom. Students were engaged and happy.
Lisa was conferencing students re their statistics project, giving meaningful
feedback.

How is behaviour managed and what routines are in place?

No evidence of poor behaviour throughout the observation, although some were a
tad off task, laughing etc. Lisa gave a quiet reminder re the learning area is a quiet
one, used humour. The students responded in a positive way.

How does the teacher interact with the students?

Giving feedback, quiet calm discussion, positive feedback as well as areas they
could work on. Great connection between students and teacher.

Points of interest:

Thankyou Lisa, once again I really enjoyed being in your classroom today. The
students were mostly engaged and enthusiastic about their learning. I was
impressed with the way that you offered students meaningful feedback and the
discussion was helpful to their future learning.
Continue to practise building those positive connections with your students
ensuring strong, respectful relationships.
Well done and thank you.
