Remembrance Day Information

Teachers and Staff,

This Friday is our Remembrance Day Assembly in the South Gym, and there a few things we would like
you to know before hand.

We will be conducting two assemblies for two groups of students, the first assembly will run in periods two
and three for grade eight and half of the grade nine. The second assembly will run in periods four and five for grade
seven and the remaining grade nine classes. Below is a list of when each class will be attending the assembly.
Students will be expected to go to their second and fourth period classes, we will call classes down from there.

We will be handing out packages of poppies to homeroom teacher to give out to their students. Please
keep an eye on your mailboxes later this week.

In addition there will be no bells on November 10th to accommodate for the assembly

We would also ask you to remind students of the somber nature of the Remembrance Day Assembly,
students are expected to be extremely respectful during the assembly. If they are permitted to have their phones in
your class, please ensure they do not have their phones on them for the assembly.
