Associated Learning Standard(s): The resource may be generally applicable, if so, simply state that. List any ISTE-S standards that
seem to naturally align with the selected resource.

The ISTE-S standards that I thought were aligned with this resource were the empowered learner and the computational
thinker.

RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

This resource allows you to use interactive simulation games pertaining to any grade level and any subject. By creating a website
you can add students and gizmos to your class. Gizmos can be found by academic standard, textbook, grade and topic. Each gizmo
comes with an assessment test, lesson plan, vocab sheet, and handout. Once students have completed the gizmos or assessments
they will be automatically graded.

INTEGRATION IDEA - COLLABORATION

How might you integrate this resource in a lesson plan to promote collaboration among students in your classroom, or among
students and others outside of the classroom?

Students could do gizmos together as group work. They would each have a chance to try the simulation and discuss what they
derived from it. Upon completions of the simulation they could do the work sheet together referring back to the gizmo or share
their gizmo with the class.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
Based on the value-added rating scale above, how would you rate the technology integration you described, using the
selected resource?
Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.

I would rate this technology a 3. I believe that the simulations provide a real world context to the material that their learning. The
gizmos are games, so the students wouldnt just be receiving a lecture. They would be learning the material hands on and at their
own pace.
