To Whom it May Concern,
| am pleased to recommend Javier Perez for the position of new graduate nurse. | had
the pleasure of working with Javier during the spring semester of 2017 as a Clinical Professor at
The University of Arizona College of Nursing in the course entitled “Acute and Chronic Illness
Management II”. This course integrates the principles of advanced medical and surgical nursing
theory, pathophysiology, and pharmacology into high acuity nursing practice. | supervised this
student in a high acuity medical/ surgical clinical practice setting including intermediate care
and intensive care units. In addition, | observed this student actively participating in clinical
development sessions including simulation and lab settings.
Javier is a hard working student who is a self-directed, independent learner and seeks
clinical experiences which challenge him to grow in the delivery of integrated nursing care. He
demonstrates strong critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities with high acuity patient
populations. He also demonstrates insight into patient and family care needs and uses effective
communication skills as a developing patient edvocate. Javier has performed well, and has
proven himself to be a team player and supportive of others. If you have any questions about
Javier's qualifications please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Kelly Clark RN
