Panamanian chicken rice

For a family evening it is delicious. In my country it is done on special occasions.


Ingredients (8 servings)
1/2 lb chopped cabbage
1/2 lb. Grated carrot
Celery C / N
Olives C / N
1 chopped onion
2 lbs rice
2 lbs cooked breast in water with * salt and garlic
3 cups chicken broth
Paprika C / N
Chicken consomme powder C / N
Salt
Steps
30 minutes
Crumble the sewn chicken and reserve. Put in a pot the chicken broth and add the two
pounds of washed rice, add the salt, the consomme and the paprika along with the rest of
the ingredients and the chicken.
Cover and cook over high heat until the rice is dry, lower the heat and cook until the rice
grains are opened. Stir the rice at least twice during the period without water. (To prevent it
from sticking or getting raw). Cook the rice about 20 minutes.
