Black History

Black history is an important part of the African-American community. Not only the african-

american community, but also, other different races and ethnicities appreciate the culture of

african-americans. We as the americans of the United States of America use the background of

african-americans almost as daily. Things such as weaving/braiding,yams,okra and more which

introduced us to southern-style cooking, which we love as americans weather fast food or at

home. Freedom, in my definition freedom to me starts with a principle of self-control, also

known as self-ownership, In a free society, each and every person has legal control or

ownership of their body and mind. For exemplification, freedom does include the legal right to

enslave others because freedom includes the legal right not to be enslaved.

As an ending topic I have to say I embrace my african background , and as happy to be free.
