kaye: The characters took traits from the opposite gender. As seen from the video, the character
portrayed by Angel Locsin showed dominance over the male character. Dominance is viewed in

rino: Masculinity is constituted by their strength and body physique. Femininity is constituted by
their beauty and cunningness.

baroy: The teleserye empowers feminism in ways that men are overpowered by women and
women also takes the role of being a leader instead of the typical follower role. also, the
teleserye showed that women CAN take risks too.

wild flower team: wildflower is a revenge-drama filipino teleserye. It revolves on the revenge of
the main character Ivy Aguas, which is portrayed by Maja Salvador.

darthelm: as you can see from the video, the typical knight-in-shining-armor scene is portrayed
by ivy, instead of a male role. this shows that women can be as daring as men too.

rino: what are the power relationships between men and women?

rosella: men are usually those who take the role of a leader, or somone who gives command. in
the video, we've seen that short haired woman give commands to her sort of 'underdogs'. this
shows a sense leadership, though in her role, a bad kind of leadership.

angela: the teleserye empowers feminism by showing flips in roles in many aspects of our known
life. for one, it shows female dominance. men can be under women's power too. and two, the
teleserye showed that our knight in shining armor can be a damsel in distress. basically, we
women can save and have skills too.
