FREEDOM AT ANY COST!

It was not long ago

When we were witness to a Holocaust

When Jews were killed for being Jews

Today it is the turn of Muslims and Blacks

For holding non-conformist views

While women have been victims regardless of their views

Today in the name of Puritanism

People are being killed for being different

Whereas, everywhere it is said loud and clear that

There is no compulsion in religion

Then who are we to create uniformity?

When diversity or variety is the law of nature and also

The Will of God and Every time when there are attempts

To tamper or alter this universal pattern

Providence speaks in myriad ways

Advocating a course correction

The Fundamental gift of God to Humans after Life is

Freedom of all kinds, Be it Free will or Freedom of choice

So, it is a matter of common sense that Peoples Freedoms are respected

Today, in the name of National security or Public safety

Many restrictions are being imposed

Which not only violate the universally accepted Charter of

The Declaration of Human Rights by all nations

To preserve the Civilization and the fruits of Labor of

The toiling masses and classes over the millennia

It is no mean an assertion to say, I am not afraid in

Todays tumultuous times when lives are at stake not only due to

Natural Calamities but also due to terrorism of all hues

But, it requires much more to end this vicious cycle

We require not only the will to act or a counter narrative

But, also the compassion to make everybody feel Wanted

As it takes all kinds to make this world

So, Let us not try to play God on Earth

For, They also serve who stand and wait
