Name:_______Dawn Beaver Plan of Action Assignment

CSI Major: Education AA EDUC 290

Indicate University/College (transfer institution):________ISU_____________

Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is for you to begin to address the graduation
requirements for your major and to address the entrance requirements for your chosen four-year
institution. Please address the questions below. Please type your responses.

1. What courses are you currently taking this semester?

EDUC 290 C01W Education Exit Seminar -

GEOG 100 C01W Physical Geography -

GEOG 100L C01W Physical Geography Lab -

HUMA 101 C01W Introduction to Humanities 1

2. What courses do you need to graduate with your AA degree? (Please see Lena Paxton to get a copy
of your Degree Audit, if you have problems. Lena is located in the Matrix in the Taylor Administration
Building on the CSI campus; you can also email her at lpaxton@csi.edu.) Otherwise, go to MyCSI under
your grades option.

It says I need the 3 listed above, Science, Humanities and the Exit Seminar but is also says I
need General Education. This was added after I started working on my degree and I had Ms.
Irons say that since I started earning it before this was added it may not be required for me.
My only problem is I had my major coded to Early Education instead of Education AA.
When I declared it long ago I didnt understand the difference. I need to find out and maybe
you can give me some direction on this.

3. Have you applied for CSI graduation? (https://www.csi.edu/forms/students_forms/gradapp/)

Yes, I did apply.
