President Roosevelt campaign poster that compares how President Hoover let the people

This poster was used for President Roosevelts re-election campaign. This poster has two
purposes. The first is to remind the citizens of the United States of the drastic changes that have
been made to their quality of life and general wellbeing. The second purpose is to use
Roosevelts portrait in the center of the poster, diving the negative paste and the positive future;
Roosevelts presidency is intended to be a transition that leads to a better future with the new
deal.
The significance of this poster as it relates to the time frame is that one side of the poster,
the United states id depicted in early depression phases including bread lines, high rates of
homeless people and banks being closed. On the other side of the poster we see the United States
working its way out of the depression with Roosevelts New Deal, this is reparented by higher
Seyfried, Sanchez
wedges, low income houses and social security. Many New Deal program reforms still exist

Presidential campaign. Roosevelt was campaigning against republican Alfred Landon, and was
relying heavily on his works around economic and agricultural reform to lead to re-election.
This artifact can be used in my unit lesson plan in writing to represent a time when the
United States was having great struggles with the Great Depression. It shows how President
Roosevelt could so easily be elected again over Alfred Landon. The reason being the President
Roosevelt brought salvation to the people during the Great Depression. He wanted to prove the
