United States Open Music Competition

October 11th, 2017

To whom it may concern:

This letter serves as recognition of invaluable service rendered by Xie Langyi,

originally from Yantai, China. For more than five years, Xie has served as interpreter
for the Chinese music contestants who came to participate in the US Open Music
Competitions (USOMC), and as the translator of the Temirzhan Yerzhanovs Master
Class during the 2017 US Open Music Competition. He has cared for the international
judges who went to China for the past few years to conduct special events during
preliminary competitions. In July of 2017, he also served as translator and helper to
Professor Scott Mcbride.

USOMC has been operating successfully since 2003 with more than 2300 entries
annually. Xie Langyi has contributed to the wellbeing of this organization in a subtle
way. We therefore are happy to give him credit for what he has done.

Very sincerely yours,

Lamae Loo, President
