Summary
The magnetic force on a moving charged particle is given by the equation F = BQv. For an
electron the equation is F = Bev.
A charged particle entering at right angles to a uniform magnetic eld describes a circular path
because the magnetic force is perpendicular to the velocity.
The equation for an electron travelling in a uniform magnetic eld is:
