In all his arguments on why the mistress should sleep with him, I think his best is in the final
section. It comes after he explains that death is coming soon and that they should live their lives to their
fullest in that moment. However, I dont think any of his arguments are particularly good. The woman
is reluctant yet he pushes on with arguments based off his sexual frustration. The poem opens with him
telling her he doesnt have enough time to be loving with her, or to appreciate anything about her. Then
he goes on to say that they must hurry so she doesnt die a virgin. At no point does he actually show
care for her, just having sex for his own benefit. So ultimately I dont think any of his arguments are
good.
