Although I have sent unto

deliver me thy silver, and

thy gold, and thy wives, and
toto-say-of that I-sent toyou toto-say-of silver-ofyou andgold-ofyou andwomen-ofyou
thy children;

Yet I will send my

but rather asthetime tomorrow I-shall-send servants-ofme toyou andthey-msearch morrow about this time, and
they shall search thine

house, and the houses of thy
servants; and it shall be,

[that] whatsoever is
house-ofyou and houses-of servants-ofyou andhe-becomes any-of coveted-thing-of
pleasant in thine eyes, they
shall put [it] in their hand,

Then the king of Israel

andhe-is-calling king-of Israel toall-of old-ones-of theland andhe-is-saying land, and said, Mark, I pray
you, and see how this [man]

seeketh mischief: for he
sent unto me for my wives,
dou - na urau ki roe ze mbqsh ki - shlch ali
and for my children, and for
know-you(p) ! please ! andsee-you(p) ! that evil this-man mseeking that he-sent tome
my silver, and for my gold;
and I denied him not.

And Benhadad sent unto
uishlch aliu bn-edd uiamr ke - ioshun li aleim him, and said, The gods do
andhe-is-sending tohim Ben-Hadad andhe-is-saying thus they-shall-do tome Elohim so unto me, and more also,
if the dust of Samaria shall


suffice for handfuls for all
the people that follow me.

drinking, he and the kings



in the pavilions, that he said
unto his servants, Set
bskuth uiamr al - obdiu shimu uishimu ol -
[yourselves in array]. And
inthebooths andhe-is-saying to servants-ofhim place-you(p) ! andthey-are-placing on
they set [themselves in
array] against the city.

   all this great multitude?
behold, I will deliver it into

thine hand this day; and
he-says Yahweh ?you-see all-of thethrong thegreat thethis beholdme ! giving-ofhim
thou shalt know that I [am]
the LORD.

princes of the provinces.
Then he said, Who shall

order the battle? And he

Benhadad sent out, and they


: told him, saying, There are
men come out of Samaria.

And he said, Whether
uiamr am - lshlum itzau thphshum chiim uam they be come out for peace,
andhe-is-saying if forpeace they-come-forth you(p)-shall-graspthem alive-ones andif take them alive; or whether
they be come out for war,
: take them alive.

So these young men of

army which followed them.

strengthen thyself, and


mark, and see what thou
doest: for at the return of

the year the king of Syria
fortify-yourself ! andknow-you ! andsee-you ! which you-shall-do that toreturn-of
will come up against thee.

hills; therefore they were
 stronger than we; but let us
fight against them in the

plain, and surely we shall be
they-were-courageous fromus andnevertheless we-shall-nfight withthem inthelevel-ground if
stronger than they.

against them in the plain,

And it came to pass at

andhe-is-becoming toreturn-of theyear andhe-is-mustering Ben-Hadad Aram Benhadad numbered the
Syrians, and went up to
: Aphek, to fight against
Israel.

And the children of
ubni ishral ethphqdu uklklu Israel were numbered, and
andsons-of Israel they-presented-themselves-to-be-mustered andthey-mwere-sustained were all present, and went
against them: and the

children of Israel pitched
before them like two little

flocks of kids; but the
andthey-are-going toto-meet-ofthem andthey-are-encamping sons-of Israel in-front-ofthem
Syrians filled the country.

Thus saith the LORD,


Because the Syrians have
said, The LORD [is] God of

the hills, but he [is] not God

of the valleys, therefore will
I deliver all this great


  multitude into thine hand,

Thy brother Benhadad.

Then he said, Go ye, bring

forth to him; and he caused

andhe-is-saying tohim thecities which he-took father-ofme fromwith father-ofyou my father took from thy
father, I will restore; and
 + thou shalt make streets for
thee in Damascus, as my

father made in Samaria.
I-shall-creturn andstreet-markets you-shall-place foryou inDamascus aswhich he-placed
Then [said Ahab], I will
send thee away with this

 covenant. So he made a

word of the LORD, Smite
 : me, I pray thee. And the
man refused to smite him.

Then said he unto him,

LORD, behold, as soon as

lion shall slay thee. And as

and slew him.

said, Keep this man: if by
any means he be missing,


then shall thy life be for his

decided [it].

of [thy] hand a man whom I
