(A) Follow safety protocols by treating the equipment with respect as well as listening to
the commands and instruction of the teacher throughout the entire lesson. (National #:
S4.H3.L1; MA CF #: 2.26; Task/Activity #: Entire Lesson)
Check each objective is it specific? Is it achievable? Is it developmentally
appropriate?
Teachers Performance Objectives During the lesson the teacher will:
1. Make sure to explain both games rules with efficient explanation so students will be
able to referee their own games without the help of the teacher.
2. Make sure to give detailed demonstration of how to play Ladder Ball/Corn Hole as
well as how to score in front of each student so no miscommunication will occur.

Special Considerations What are the safety concerns? What is unique about the
students in this class?
1. Ensure that both games are a good distance apart from each other so no student will
come into a hazardous situation if a bean bag/ladder ball is thrown away from the
target by accident.

- LADDER BALL RULES:
- Two teams play the game.
The teams are made up of
1-3 players.
- There are two sets set up
about 10 feet away from
each other.
- One partner will stand at
one set while the other
stands at the opposing set.
- Each team will get 3 bolas
to throw each round. The
bola is the 2 golf balls
attached to a string that the
player attempts to
underhand toss and stay
on one of the ladders.
- One side of players will
start by alternating
between underhand
throwing their bolas until
they have tossed a total of
6 bolas.
- SCORING:
- If a bola lands and stays
on:
- Top Ladder= 3 points
- Middle Ladder= 2 points
- Lower Ladder= 1 point
- The first team to 21 points
wins.
- Players can try to knock off
opposing teams bolas on

The teams are made up of
1-3 players.
- There are two sets set up

count the score after their
partner throw all of their
bean bags.
- The team who scored the
most points in that round
will throw first and alternate
the throw from there.
- SCORING:
- After all the bean bags
have been thrown:
- A bean bag that remains
on the board= 1 point.
- A bean bag that went
through the hole= 3 points.
- After the scores are added
up for both teams, the
higher scoring team will
subtract the score of the
lower scoring team and
that number will be added
