Green,Stuart. Argument as conversation: The Role of Inquiry in Writing researched
Argument. Writing about writing: a college reader, 2nd ed., Boston: Bedford St.Martins,
2014: pp.27-37.

Summary
Stuart Green informs us about how to use arguments in order to converse or write
assignments. For achieving this, some steps have to be followed: indentify the issues of the
point of view from the conversation, indentify the situation or the use or framing Moreover,
some writings are showed as examples of framing, as well as a conclusion about the research of
arguments.

Claim

The most important idea that can be transfer to my peers is that arguments can change due
to the different issues found.
By learning new points of view or by enlarging the content of the current argument, it
will evolve to a new or larger idea.

Keep in mind that issues are dynamic and arguments are always evolving(30).

The text written by Stuart green analyzes the use of arguments in writing. The most
important idea that can be transfer to my peers is that arguments can change due to the different
issues found. By learning new points of view or by enlarging the content of the current
argument, it will evolve to a new or larger idea. The author states: Keep in mind that issues are
dynamic and arguments are always evolving(30). The issues of a disscution create the
participants argument; it has sense that if it appear an issue between the points of view, some
arguments may experiment a change. It can be due to the information achieved, for example.
Using other words: someone can be convinced, and their arguments may become different. By
making arguments, the person who defends an statement can get new information about the
content, and change his or her arguments.
