Directions: The student will be instructed to vacuum an area of carpet. The teacher will record a yes
for each step observed. Each step is worth one point.

4 Turn on vacuum

5 Hold cord slack

6 Use foot pedal to angle vacuum

7 Hold vacuum handle with hand & push over carpet

9 Do not run over the cord with vacuum

10 Prop vacuum upright

11 Turn off vacuum

12 Unplug vacuum

13 Roll up cord neatly

14 Return vacuum to spot in closet
