Final Evaluation Concerning the Field Experience

At first, I was skeptical of the opportunity to work in the school and if I would get

anything out of the experience. I did not know what to expect and how much exposure I would

get to the kinds. In AVID I was responsible for a group of eight boys and I was able to create

great working relationships with them. I was very glad I got the opportunity to work with these

young learners.

There were many challenges along the way and at times I questioned what I was doing.

However, at the end of the sessions I knew that teaching is what I wanted to do. I am

passionate about this and I feel as if I can change many young peoples lives. This experience

allowed for me to get more exposure to learning environments and I am genuinely happy that I

was allowed to have this experience.
