1. What is your real name?
My real name is Agnes Bojaxhiu.
2. Who or what inspired you to help people?
My mother instilled a sense of charity in me ever since I
was a small child.
3. Why did you choose the name Mary Teresa?
Originally, I wanted the name Theresa for Theresa
of Lisieux but it was already used by another sister in the
order, so I chose the Spanish spelling of the name, which
is Theresa but without the h.
4. What is your favorite color?
Blue is my favorite color because it symbolize peace and
understanding on an international level.
5. Where were you born?
I was born in Skopje.
6. Why or what made you found the Messianic of
Charity?
I experienced a call within a call from God.
7. What do you like doing in your free time?
I am always busy.
8. If you have some free time, what would you do?
If I could have more free time, I would reread the Bible
for the 100th time.
9. If you have one wish, what would you wish for?
Hmmm, I think I would perhaps wish for another Bible
and world peace, however, ending world hunger is also a
priority.
10. If there's one place you could visit, where would
you go?
I've already been everywhere.
11. How did you feel when you won the Nobel
Prize?
Beyond happy and extremely grateful. Theres no suitable
adjective to describe what I felt.
12. What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is Banh Trang Tron but I like anything
thats edible. Im not a picky eater.
13. What is your favorite book?
My favorite book is the Bible, I love the characters.
14. Do you have any pets?
No I don't.
15. If you have a pet, what would it be and why?
If I have a pet then I would choose to have a horse
because horses are cool and I like cool things.
