NEW CELL TOWER REQUIREMENTS

An applicant applying for a new telecommunications/cell tower must:

n Arrange for a public briefing to be held in a location near the proposed cell tower site.

n Post at least one 24x 36 weatherproof sign at the location of the proposed cell tower site announcing
the proposed cell tower and a public briefing. The sign must be clearly visible from the nearest public
road(s) and contain the following information:

l Announcement of the intention to construct a telecommunications tower and/or facility.

l Name and phone number of the applicant proposing to construct the cell tower.

l Place and time of the public briefing.

n Post notices of the public briefing for three consecutive weeks in the newspapers of record for the
area where the tower will be erected.

n Hire a transcriber to record the proceedings of the public briefing, and submit a written report of
the briefing proceedings to the Telecommunications Transmission Facility Coordinating Committee
(TTFCC) no later than two weeks after the public briefing.

n Remove all signs within two weeks of the TTFCCs decision.

Please note that violation of, or non-compliance with, any of these items or any other changes deemed
necessary by TTFCC will result in revocation of the application.
