Making Rice Krispies Turkeys & Paper Bag Trees

Introduction:
Introduce the mothers and children, if there any new mothers and children.

Activity:
Rice Krispies Turkey Treats
Share with the group that well be making Rice Krispy Turkey treats
Assign tasks to the children and mothers
1. Mothers can mix the butter and marshmallow together as the children will stir
the rice krispies to mix.
2. Once the rice krispies form the mothers and children may decorate their
turkeys.

Paper Bag Trees

Demonstrate how to create the paper bag tree structure.
1. The mothers will cut the ends of the paper bag, while the children rip/cut the
tissue paper.
2. Mothers and children can choose to form their tree however they wish and
glue the tissue onto tree branches.

Circle Time:
Share their tree creations and the Turkey treats.
