After the Observation:
1. What was the objective of the lesson? The objective of the lesson was to introduce
the odd and even numbers to the students and make them identify between
them.

2. Was the objective achieved? Yes, the objective was achieved. However; some of
the students did not fully identify between the numbers.

3. How was the concept introduced? The teacher first introduced the lesson while the
books where closed by using the white board. Then, made some students
answer her questions and come to the board to solve the questions. After, she
told the students to solve some questions on the book using cubes. At the end
of the lesson, as an assessment, the teacher handed out a worksheet for students
to solve in class.

4. How much teaching was done in L1? The whole teaching lesson was done in L1,
because they take math in Arabic.

5. Why do you think the teachers used L1? Because their curriculum is in Arabic.

6. Did the teacher use manipulatives? What were the purpose of these?

7. Were there any other resources/materials used to deliver the lesson? Yes, there were
resources/ materials used. Such as, cubes, white board, projector, worksheets
and books.

8. What strategies/method did she use to teach the concept? The teacher first
