club basketball teams. Student interns also lend assistance to events such as homecoming convocation, charter day and
commencement. Responsibilities extend to providing support for all special guests and visiting alumni. They further serve
as primary representation of the University and participate in multiple community service events throughout the year.
HOWARD UNIVERSITY FRESHMAN LEADERSHIP ACADEMY 2012 - 2016
Leadership Volunteer
One of 53 students selected from a pool of more than 300 applicants. The mission of the Freshman Leadership
Academy (FLA) is to develop individual leadership skills in a group environment through developmental training, service
