Title of the Bill: National Harambe Day

BE IT ENACTED BY THE MORRISON CONGRESS

1 SECTION 1: Findings
2 Congress makes the following findings:
3 1)On May 28, 2016, a three year old boy fell into a gorilla enclosure at the
4 Cincinnati zoo. (i)
5 2)The boy was saved when Harambe the gorilla grabbed and dragged him on
6 shore. (i)
7 3)A zoo worker shot and killed Harambe, because he feared for the boys life.

11 SECTION 2: Purpose
12 The bill provides that May 28th should become a national holiday in remembrance of
13 Harambe and his heroic action.

15 SECTION 3: General Provisions
16 This act would ensure that the memory of Harambe would never die.
17 On the death anniversary of our beloved hero, Harambe, all citizens must wear
18 black.
19 On May 28th, All zoos in the United States will have free entrance tickets for
20 American citizens.
21 On May 28th, All public schools in the United States must remind their students
22 about the heroic story of Harambe.

25 SECTION 4: Definitions
26 Heroic - having the characteristics of a hero or heroine; admirably brave or
27 determined.
28 Death Anniversary - The date when a living thing dies.
