If a friend of mines was applying for a position as a technical writer at Google, I would advise her to
include the resume from Figure 12-5. I would choose this resume because, first outlines her GPA,
secondly it displays information about her professional experience and it allows Google to see exactly
where she was able to practice her technical communication skills. If I was to change anything, I would
say to add a little more about her technical skills. If she was applying for a job at IBM my advice
wouldnt change much, as long as she has the correct information for whatever position it may be that she
is applying for.
