Installing and uninstalling

Run install.bat to install the fix. Any previous versions are automatically
replaced.

To uninstall run uninstall.bat or use Programs and Features in the Control Panel.

Alternate installation method

If the batch file method fails for some reason you can also install the fix
manually:

1. Download and install the Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit:


http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=7352
2. From the Start menu/Start screen launch Compatibility Administrator (32-bit).
3. Click Open.
4. Select the fix from this archive.
5. Choose File>Install.
6. The fix is now installed. To uninstall use Programs and Features in the Control
Panel.

Technical explanation

This fix works by applying the following compatibility fixes to Gothic.exe,


Gothic2.exe and GothicMod.exe:
* ForceSimpleWindow (hides window border)
* DXPrimaryEmulation -DisableMaxWindowedMode (fixes frame rate issues)
