Summarize the plans major curricular and professional development

outcomes that are supported by research.
These days, everybody's life is loaded with innovation such as iPads, cell phones,
tablets, Chromebook, fuel, and so forth. Every one of these types of gears with their
Internet association gives us access to a large number of data and assets. With the
assistance of innovation, we can be a piece of the world, by teaming up, sharing
thoughts, supporting each other. Each of us is enlivened, propelled paying little heed
to our dialects, nationalities, or inabilities.

Describe the connection between the research and the plans goals.

Goal-based strategic planning takes the stated aim and builds a kind of map to
reaching the goal. Another goal is that help student and teachers even administrators
to take the use of information and technology for teaching and learning; in addition to
these goals of planning is to develop tools and prepare educators to assist people with
disabilities to reach their academic and social potential and prepare administrators to
manage learning systems and environments efficiently.
CURRICULUM COMPONENT CRITERIA.
The Plan must establish clear goals and realistic strategy for using
telecommunications and information technology to improve education services.
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

What technology is currently available to all teachers?

Computers, Chromebooks, Printer, Projector, SMART board, and Mimio Pad are
accessible to all teachers. All these technologies are available to use during class, at
break time and lunch time even after school break for instructional settings: group
work, individual word, presentations, etc. Also, in our school, we have maker space,
which has excellent tools that can help students and teacher to create their design
such as the 3D printer.
How does technology assist teachers and principals with
their administrative tasks, attendance and grading?

Technology does help teachers regarding attendance and grading. The

reason is that it is so effective. Thanks to technology such as computers
that school provided, we do not have struggle with paper. We save time.
Thanks to this advantage of taking attendance, administrators can record
the number of tardiness that students have. They can take action
accordingly. Another advantage of using technology concerning grading,
we can grade students on the computer in any hardware. They help us
grade quickly. And provide us data. I will take myself as an example when I
assign any homework on the Chromebook on Pearson, Pearson grades. I
do not have to grade it. So, I can save time and get data. On Pearson,
students can get feedback right away, which can students learn fast.

How is technology currently being used by teachers and administrator to

promote effective classroom instruction and school management?

Instead of spending on grading, we can use that time to prepare for instruction.
Also, with the help of technology teachers can manage classroom efficiently. For
example, if they can use mimio pad, it is like a remote control. What I mean by that
teacher can write on mimio pad, students can be able to see what student writes on
board. A teacher can stand everywhere in the class. So they can manage students in
the back comfortably.

Is technology currently available to students during after-school

hours?
Yes, technology is available to students during after-school hours only if they
will have a supervisor. They can advantage of technology.

Many school assignments require students to access technology

after hours, where will students access technology to complete their
work?

They can use Chromebooks available in class. But, students have to have
a supervisor, or they can have use computer labs in school.

Do they have access technology in their homes, in community

libraries, and/or at community centers?

Almost everyone has a computer in their home. If they do not have computer or
tablet at their home, in Elpaso, there are public libraries. They can go there,
and they can use their computers.
How is technology integrated into the curriculum being used to
provide powerful learning opportunities for all students?

How we integrate technology into the curriculum is that we use Aleks

software. We use this software for lab class for more practice.
Aleks asks questions based on students level. The more problem
they solve, the more level they will have, which means that Aleks
helps everyone to learn to solve questions based on their levels.

Is technology currently available to all students?

Yes, all technologies are currently available to all students. They can use technologies
during class. It is also available for use after school upon request. However, they
cannot take them to home. Students can use computer lab or Chromebooks for their
research, presentations assignments. Kindergarten students can use iPads according
to schedule, K-2 and K-3 grades have access to Chromebooks in the classrooms.
Online access to all resources is available to all students both at home and in school.

How is technology being used by students in the library media center

and labs?

Technology is used by students in labs with a supervisor.

How will technology be used to create more powerful learning

experiences to improve student academic achievement?

Students must take the end of course test for some subjects or teachers want
to evaluate students knowledge by the end of subject. Therefore, a teacher
can use clickers for a summative assessment. Clickers can provide statistical
data. It means that teachers can reconstruct his/her instruction plan according
to the data. If most of the students could not answer some of the questions on
the test, the teacher can reteach the topic, which can help students improve
their academic achievement.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMPONENT

The Plan must have a professional development strategy to ensure that staff
understands how to use these new technologies to improve education services
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

What do teachers and administrators consider as their needs for professional

development?
As new advancements show up, educators and supervisors together with masters
evaluate its reconciliation to the educational modules. Workshops, bits of preparing
and classes are thought to be the fundamental piece of expert advancement.

What will professional learning be available to teachers and administrators

can make informed decisions using data to meet individual student academic
needs?

Understudies' record keeping and evaluations, electronic reviewing programming,

enlistment programming will be accessible to meet individual understudy scholarly
needs. Polynomial math and online math testing will be available. Instructors and
overseers can convey through email and phone about understudy's scholarly
achievement.
What will professional learning be available to teachers and administrators
can effectively use technology to assist with student assessment?
With the help of mentor- menti programs, if there is any teacher who can not know
how to use technology, we will assign a mentor for them, and they start learning and
using technology in their class. We will provide them training about using technology
in class efficiently with the help of experts by designating time in the school day.
Besides, we will set a sample goals for teachers and administrators to reach.

INFRASTRUCTURE, HARDWARE, TECHNICAL SUPPORT, SOFTWARE, AND

ASSET MANAGEMENT COMPONENT CRITERIA
The Plan must include an assessment of the telecommunication services,
hardware, software, asset management, and other services that will be needed
to improve education services.

(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

What technology access do parents have at home? What technologies do

parents prefer for home/school communication?

They have a cellphone, computer. Parents prefer to communicate with the school
through email, school websites. If the child is sick or cant come to school for some
other reason, then parents can let his teacher know about it via email, or teacher can
talk to parents about childs academic progress, all these happen with the help of
technology.
What hardware/infrastructure currently exists at each school site?

Each school site is furnished with PCs, portable workstations, screens, printers,
Chromebooks, and so on. School specialists pick the equipment, in any case, they
here and there change in requirements for understudies. All understudies utilize a PC
every day, the vast majority of the circumstances PCs require repairing.

What technologies will teachers and administrators need to implement the

plan's goals and benchmarks successfully?

The yearly benchmarks ought to be exact. The reason is the educators and managers
think of the arrangement that presents needs and objectives with the point by point
activities and steps. For instance, Video cameras, printer, scanner, copier should be
precisely obtained by this specific seller or and so on.

What technologies are available to facilitate home/school communication

such as email, web pages, and voicemail?

We have School web pages, database. Also, students have their school email
address. Also, some teachers use the reminder application to remind and
communicate to students parents.

Where are electronic resources located: classrooms, library/media centers or

computer labs?
Most of the electronic resources are located in class such as Chromebooks,
smartboard. We have a lot of computers located in labs.

Do all staff members have e-mail accounts? Do students have access to e-

mail?

All teachers have school email other than their email. Also, students can have access
to their teachers' email address. Or they can ask their teacher to get their email
address.

Who provides technical support and what is the response?

In each school, we have IT Department. If teachers or administrators need any

technical support, IT department resolves that problem. If IT department cannot
address any issue, they refer to IT director in District Office.

What filtering software will be used to prevent staff or student access to

inappropriate internet sites
We have Sonicwall as a filtering; it is a hardware leased by Spectrum, it is used for
multiple purposes, one of them is to filter Internet traffic.

Are the storage rooms and in which infrastructure, hardware, and

electronic resources reside secure or do they require modification to become
secure?

There is a dedicated storage for IT equipment in schools; magnetic access card

secures it, only authorized people are allowed to this room.

Is there safe and secure access to labs that will be used during non-school
hour by students and the community? Are school buildings, property, and users
safe and protected based on LEA policies?

We have enough number of labs needed for school use, these labs are used not only
for instructional purposes but also used for testing purposes such as AP Spanish test.
Some of these labs have smart lock systems which allow you to log who enters the
lab, and some of them have a regular lock on them to secure. I believe that they are
safe and protected based on LEA policies.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION COMPONENT

The plan must include an evaluation process that enables the school to monitor
progress toward the specific goals and make mid-course corrections in
response to new developments and opportunities as they arise.

(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Who will oversee the data collection, analysis, and program modification
process?

The technology committee ( IT department and director of IT) will oversee the data
collection and provides the means of meeting the goal set forth. AP academics and
administrator team will oversee. If they need any modification, they will get approval
from a principal. Administrator team and technology committee will come together
discuss outcomes, data.

Who will participate in the monitoring and evaluation process?

In the monitoring and evaluation process school principal, the dean of academics in
the campus and district administration will participate. They will review and give
feedback to the central office.
How often will data be collected and summarized? Who is responsible?

Data will be collected bi-monthly. Relevant data will be collected from student
information center and student assessment. Then, their current data and their
previous data will be compared. They will discussion way they can do better to
improve their level of using technology in order to make progress and meet their
goals.

How often will the status of plan implementation be reported to the

LEA superintendent and the stakeholders?

In spite of the fact that this innovative design has been intended for a long time, status
of plan execution will be accounted for yearly.

Describe the process of collecting and analyzing data.

First of all, we will set goals for teachers and administrator to meet their goals. We will
get their results month by month. Then we will put their results on the graph. Then we
will share their outcome and their data with LEA. After that, we will discuss their
previous results and current result using graphs or charts.

How will teachers, parents, and other stakeholders provide suggestions

and opinions in the evaluation process?

They can share their ideas via e-mail. They can attend to meeting to voice their
concern, ideas. They can come up with ideas to apply.

How will technology success stories be documented and publicized?

In our campuses, we are implementing Project Based Learning (PBL). Each core
subjects students are required to choose a project of their interests. PBLs tasks are
technology oriented. During the process, students are creating online free google sites
to publicize their websites. On their websites, they record their projects videos and
upload them. These online portfolios will be demonstrated at STEM festivals which
students explain their projects to public and invited VIPs. Our schools are promoting
students in every aspect of their projects.
