Sample Space
Relations Test
1.
SPACE RELATIONS
The Space Relations test measures the ability to
visualise a three-dimensional object from a two-
dimensional pattern, and to visualise how this
object would look if rotated in space. Each
problem shows one pattern, followed by four
three-dimensional figures. Students are to
choose the one figure that can be made from the
pattern.

2.
DIRECTIONS

These problems consist of patterns with shading or

designs on them. These patterns can be folded to make
three-dimensional shapes. Each problem shows one
pattern, followed by four three-dimensional figures. You
are to choose the one figure that can be made from the
pattern. Then mark your answer on the answer sheet.
