Reflection

What would you have done differently if you were to start the project over today?

Since English is my second language and I am Asian, it was overwhelming to me to study in

Interior Design Class including not only a ton of terminologies, but also the U.S measurement

system. At the beginning of the class, I had a difficulty in changing the measure dimension from

what I have learnt in my country to the new system. Hence, I took me days to draw one single

floor plan. Further, because of language barrier, I digested new concepts slower than native

students. However, luckily, there were a lot of projects being provided along the class and the more

I finished them, the more concepts that I learned. The teacher is great also and I really enjoy the

class. Now, I am able to draw floor plan without any helps. If I have a chance to start the class

over, I will enjoy it more and use this opportunity to study deeper in interior design field since I

will need those concepts in future, especially when I buy the new house.
