Module 10 Excel Project

This project was very rewarding because I learned how to efficiently use an excel sheet

to keep up with assessments. Through this assignment, I learned how to analyze excel sheets to

gather information on how well the class did on a particular assessment.

In this particular assessment, I can conclude that the class did not do very well overall.

They had a class average of 67% which tells me that they still do not understand the

information that was covered. The average on addition problems was 75% and the average for

subtraction problems was 68%. When I revisit this SOL, I will cover addition, subtraction, and

division; however, I will definitely focus on subtraction.

The data also shows students that did well on the test. According to the data, Juan

received a 100% and understood every problem. Cody also did very well and only missed 1

problem. Hugh also did a great job and got an 80%. He only missed three questions. Question

number 11 was one of the questions that he missed however the question average was only

31% so it may have been a bad question. Molly got 80% of the addition problems correct but

only 20% of subtraction correct. This tells me that Molly needs definite help with subtraction.

Nathan also only got 20% of the subtraction problems correct so he also needs help with

subtraction. Luke scored a 40% and needs help in all of the sections. He scored below average

on addition and subtraction.
