individual geospatial mapping and analysis tools within the software.

After completing this course, you will be able to perform many of the tasks using the common

features and functionality of AutoCAD Map 3D, including:

Setting up clean base map geometry, and creating topologies,

assigning and working with different mapping coordinate systems;

establishing and working with attribute data, including Object Data, and external database links;

This course requires a basic knowledge of AutoCAD. This means that having skills such as managing

layers, general creation, editing of geometry, and familiarity with the Properties palette are

AutoCAD Map 3D is also included in AutoCAD Civil 3D, so professionals in the civil engineering and

surveying industries using Civil 3D software also have access to most of the features and functions in

this course.
