Exercise Plan

I am currently 21-years-old; in 29 years I will be 50 years old. In order to stay healthy, I

will need to eat right and stay active on a constant basis. Not only will I have to work on my

physical health, I will need to work on my mental and emotional as well.

In these first couple of years of the plan I would make sure I at least get 60 minutes of

activity a day, with at least a heavy workout 2 times a week. I will need to make sure I stretch

before my 60 minutes of activity and after to help my muscles and joints. I will also make sure

that my mental state is well while I am teaching and coaching by doing breathing exercises and

making sure when I am not working I am relaxed so I dont get stressed and burnt out. It is

important that I am enjoying life so I am mentally in a good state of mind, because I believe

with a healthy mind comes a healthy body. For me emotionally, I will surround myself with

great people, friends and family members to make sure I am emotionally stable. There will be

times that life gets rough and with a combination of relieving stress through workouts, mental

therapy, and the strength of my family and friends I will be a very healthy person.

As I age my metabolism will slow down meaning I will really have to start watch what I

put in my body. My goal is to keep track of what I eat with a food journal to not only track

calories but what nutrition Im putting in myself. As I age I plan to continue to work out making

it a goal to workout everyday. Not so much with heavy workouts but now just working on my

stamina. Keeping my heart rate at about 70 or 80% for an hour or more. Maybe by riding bikes,

running, swimming, yoga, etc. I will have to make sure I stretch more often for longer periods of

time to avoid injuries.
