5 opinions of the public on gender inequality in sport

I believe there is a strong sense of inequality in sport as seen by televised sport as the
majority is male sports,we rarely see womens football or rugby on tv but only tennis and
cricket which is still difficult for the female gender to watch as its on sky sports which
isnt cheap.

I think there isnt much inequality as male sporting standards of performance are a lot
better and gather a lot more attention by the public than female sports.

Its very obvious there is inequality in sport as seen by the amount of female sports on
tv however the recent report on prize money between genders in sport has shown there
is an increase in equality however still not to the standard it should be.

Im not the most interested person when it comes to sport however I still know that the
gender equality gap is still unfair and will never be solved until both are equal in all
departments from television,radio,advertisement,publicity and salary.I do think there has
been a strong drive to bring equality ever closer however it is still not enough in my
eyes,all federations and organisations surrounding sports need to come together to
agree on how this problem can be resolved.

Male sports is a lot more technically skilled and have better abilities than female
athletes and I think for that reason the distribution of female and male sports is correct
and should not be amended.
