during instructional time.

teachers, administrators, or staff without their

- DO NOT use your device to cyber-bully,
harass, or invade another persons privacy.
- DO NOT eat or drink using your device.

PROPER PROCEDURES FOR BYOD

1. When you come on campus for school, immediately power down your device.

2. Keep your device out of sight until you are in your classroom.

3. Place your powered down deviceon the top right corner of your desk faced
down.

4. Keep your powered down device at the top right corner, faced down until
given further instructions.

5. Monitor the stop sign at the front of the room. When it is appropriate the
color will change.

6. When the BYOD Stop sign is red, devices are to be powered down and
completely put away.

7. When the BYOD stop sign is Yellow, devices are to be poweredon and in the
top right corner faced down.

8. When the BYOD stop sign is Green, devices may be powered on and faced up.

9. When the teacher says "FREEZE" both hands immediately go in the air, while
the device remains open and accessible.

10. When the teacher says "Red light," immediately stop. Eyes on the speaker.
Hands in the lap. Knees towards the speaker.
