2. For density I use grams per cubic centimeter. For liquids it is grams per milliliter.

3. The advantage is being able to compare what either of us did wrong and how to fix it.

Maybe one of us didnt use the metric system and we could easily catch the mistake. It

gives a much better way enabling us to test without stopping because one thought their

answer was right.

4. A) If a phone weighs about 130 grams then it will weigh 130000 mg.

B) If the bookcase in my house is 152.4 cm long then it is 1.524m.

5. The unit for temperature in SI is celsius. The boiling point of water is 100 C and

freezing is 0 C.

6. There are exactly 30.48 cm in a 12 inch ruler; with 304.8 mm in it as well. For every 1

cm 10 mm go into it and this makes conversation much easier.


7. SI is much easier to use when converting anything. It also is good to make less flaws in

math by only using SI. We are one of two countries that do not use SI at all and it makes

international work difficult. This can cause errors in works shared and that is why all

scientist must use SI.
