ABSTRACT
The Scarcity of Peasant Workerswas found in Guangdong Province , Fujian Province , Shandong
Province , Zhejiang Province and so on since the beginning of 2004. The phenomenon that was first
observed in China means that our labor supply in the countryside will changed significantly. Utilizing the
data of the fifth National Population Census in 2000 ,this paper reveals the character of population in our
countryside ,gives the supply of our rural labor from 2006 to 2016 ,analyzes the reason ofThe Scarcity of
Peasant Workersin 2004 ,and promots countermeasures accordingly.

ABSTRACT
It is shown that R&D activity has high concentricity in distribution. This paper deals with the
measure of the concentricity. Some measuring indicators and method have been presented , which are very
usefull in calculating Lorenz curve , GINI index and other measuring indicators according to the logarithm
mean square of distribution of S&T activity = D ln . Finally ,some examples are used to illustrate
the applications and the validity of new method of the paper. It is shown that science and technology
indicators reflecting system scale obey the lognormal distribution so that the results of this paper have
practical values.
