Jacqui and Garys Wedding Speech

Master of Ceremonies David Liebich

Good Evening and welcome to the celebration of Jacqui and Garys wedding.
I am David Liebich and I am married to Jacquis aunt, Cathy and sister to
John, Jacquis father.
It is an honour to have been asked to perform this function on behalf of the
bridal couple.
I have known Jacqui for over 25 years and Gary for about 9 years and it is
wonderful to see them take their vows today.
An MCs role is performed by a person who is witty, charming and can work
the room. However as I have been trained as an accountant you have my
permission to nod off.
I have been asked to make sure that the speeches are over before the beer
and champers run out so we will proceed with the formalities.

There are a few house rules and announcements to make.

The premises are non-smoking, if anyone cannot find their way home there
are taxis available and the toilet facilities are near the main door.

Firstly the bridal couple would like to welcome you all to the reception and, in
particular, those family members that have travelled a long way.

I would now like to call on the father of the bride to propose a tost to the Bride
and Groom.
