1. VISION & SCOPE

This states the problem definition and the goals of the project.

2. RESOURCES AND CONDITIONS

2.1 EXTERNAL CONDITIONS

A description of all the external conditions for the project such as physical conditions, equipment, tools,
standards and so on.

2.2 PROJECT ORGANIZA TION

Brief description of the project organization supported by a diagram (if necessary). Remember to relate the
project organization to the external organization at the customer.

2.3 PERSON RESOURCES

Describes the persons acting in and around the project. Also state the roles, competences and responsibilities.
Remember also to note the contact relations at the customer, and other external references like supervisors
etc.

3. STRATEGIC ANALYSIS

This part contains

3.1 STAKEHOLDERS

Describing the special interest into the project for the stakeholders.

3.2 STRENGTHS AND WE AKNESSES ANALYSIS

Stating the level of uncertainty for the project.

3.3 RISK ANALYSIS

Describe the probability, impact and actions to reduce the risks of the project. Remember, risks are things that,
normally, are not controllable by the project.

3.4 CRITICAL CONDITI ONS

Outline critical criteria for the project, and special precautions to be taken to handle these.

3.5 THE STRATEGY FOR THE PROJECT

A brief summarization of how to meet the challenges stated in the above sections in the best way.

4. PROJECT MODEL

The overall project model used for the project. The choice is based on the overall uncertainty of the project as
stated in the strategic analysis.

5. DEVELOPMENT METHOD

The development method to be used based on the chosen project model and the strategic analysis.
6. PROCEDURES AND INTERNAL ORGANIZATION

Describes the accepted procedures for the project team, such as standard working hours, procedure in case of
absence, meeting plan etc.

c) User meetings (when, how)

d) Source control inclusive branching model

e) principles for supplier handling especially how to handle conflicts
