You are on page 1of 1

I saw you, not just as an image,

That light manifests,

In front of my eyes.

I saw you, not just as a body,

A mere myth of flesh,
Vacant bones inside.

You travel in through my senses,

Devouring my emotions;
So innocent you are.

I'm guilty of starving to breathe in,

The air I surrendered you;
I'm in love with my scars.

Every pain begins a longing,

A whole new fear that it may cease to feel.
I may be breaking into a million pieces,
But I am happy to scatter under your feet.
