Unable To Locate Configured SRS - SCCM 2012
Today I will write about the Most common issue which you may faced or will face in
So first of all I will tell you that how to install Reporting Service in System Center
Configuration Manager for those who don't know how to install Reporting Service in
SCCM So, Lets started
3- Right-click the server on which you want to install the reporting services point
and click Add Site System Roles to start the wizard
4- On the General page, accept the default settings and click Next
5- On the Proxy page, accept the default settings and click Next
6- On the System Role Selection page, select Reporting Services Point and click Next
7- On the Reporting Services Point page, specify the Configuration Manager site
data- base server name and the database name and here You will see nothing in
Reporting Service Instance like this
So technically this problem has so many reasons and resolution but i am writing 2 of
them
Resolution:-
1- First of all ensure this thing that you will install this Reporting Services on the Server
that has SQL Server or you can say Site Server. And ensure this that you have installed
already Reporting Service-Native in SQL Server Setup Role like this
Resolution # 2:-
2- If you are using SQL Server 2014 with SCCM 2012 R2 the you should know that SQL
Server 2014 Doesn't Support Directly SCCM 2012 R2 but will support if you upgrade
SQL Server 2012 to 2014.
But Don't Worry if you installed already SQL SERVER 2014 with SCCM 2012 R2 you just
need to upgrade it. You need a Hotfix which you can download from here
Resolution # 3:-
