Union Jack is one example of culture-bound elements that
are culturally untranslatable (Ceramella, 2008: 20). The translator could
leave it out altogether and resort to a superordinate britanska zastava
combined with an explanation in a footnote that the UK flag was first
designed as a combination of Englands and Scotlands flags (e.g., bri-
tanska zastava je nastala kombinovanjem dizajna engleske i kotske
zastave). The other option would be to include the transcribed name
Junion Dek along with the explanation.

The four lines contain an example of temporal dialect (Cer-
amella, 2008: 14), i.e., words and phrases that were used in a certain
historical period, and have since fallen out of use, or are used with a
different meaning. Curtal (an animal, here a horse, with a docked tail)
is now obsolete, and therefore the translator translating the text to Ser-
bian would have to find an equivalent archaic word referring to a horse
in the TL. Hound is a word more often used as a noun than as a verb,
while mounted, i.e., on horseback, the translator may recognize from
the phrase mounted police. The word order and syntax are also archa-
ic, typical of Shakespearean language, so the translator should attempt
to render the feel of poetic, archaic language into the TL. However, it
would be difficult to be completely faithful to the original, and this is not
essential to the meaning. Blank verse relies on meter, not rhyme, so the
translator need not render the rhyming couplet. In this case, it is enough
to use the appropriate lexemes and syntax to help the reader associate
the target text with poetic, archaic language.

Used in this sense, favor means the condition of being regard-
ed with approval or good will by a monarch (which usually entailed
being given money, offices and lands as a warrant of loyalty). (Shapiro
2015: 4) Therefore, the best possible equivalent in the TC is biti u milo-
sti ili vratiti se u milost.

The legal status of the ward of the state today refers to a per-
son placed under the protection of court. In the source text, however,
the legal guardian in question would be the monarch as the head of
state. Therefore, translating it as tienik dvora / krune seems the most
adequate.

could carry a sword and have heralds make him a coat of arms. This title
approximately corresponds approximately to the title plemeniti ac-
quired under similar conditions by wealthy men from the middle class
in 18th and 19th century Serbia, and thus this Serbian equivalent would
likely suffice in such a context.

Zakonom o detektivskoj delatnosti i Zakonom o privatnom obezbeenju
Slubeni glasnik RS, broj 104/2013 detalnije su regulisani rad pravnih
lica, preduzetnika i fizikih lica, uslovi za licenciranje, nain vrenja poslova,
ovlaenja i ostvarivanje nadzora i kontrole nad njihovim radom.

Krivini zakonik Republike Srbije, Slubeni glasnik RS broj 72/2009, 111/2009,
121/2012, 104/2013., lanovi 19 i 20.

Fizika zatita lica i imovine, obavla se prvenstveno linim prisustvom i neposrednom
aktivnou slubenika obezbeenja u odreenom prostoru i vremenu. Poslovi se mogu vriti
samo unutar tienog objekta ili do granice tienog prostora. Izuzetno, poslovi fizike zatite
lica (lino obezbeenje) mogu se vriti na javnom mestu i u neposrednoj blizini lica koje se
obezbeuje, na predlog organa dravne uprave, organa jedinice lokalne samouprave, organizacija
ili udruenja i fizikih lica i uz saglasnost MUP-a.
Predlog mora da sadri plan obezbeenja, sa naznakom broja angaovanih slubenika
obezbeenja, vrstu i koliinu oruja i opreme, lokaciju objekta, vozila i predviene trase
kretanja. Predlog za saglasnost podnosi se policijskoj upravi, nadlenoj po mestu gde e se vriti
obezbeenje, najkasnije tri dana pre poetka obezbeenja. Saglasnost se izdaje najkasnije 24 asa
pre poetka obezbeenja (Zakon o privatnom obezbeenju, lanovi 21, 22).

Licenca je reenje kojim se pravnim licima i preduzetnicima, kao i fizikim licima
koja ispunjavaju propisane zakonske uslove dozvolava obavlanje delatnosti privatnog
obezbeenja, odnosno vrenje poslova privatnog obezbeenja na podruju Republike Srbije.
Od 01. januara 2017. godine sva pravna lica i preduzetnici, kao i fizika lica (slubenici
obezbeenja) duni su da imaju poloen ispit i dobiti licencu za obavlanje delatnosti i
poslova privatnog obezbeenja (Zakon o privatnom obezbeenju, lanovi 1118).

Uvod
Rijetki su pojmovi (rijei, sadraj) koji su se tako dugo odrali u
upotrebi, i u teoriji i u praksi, kao to je pojam demokratije. Vie od
dva milenijuma (od antike Grke) upotrebe, pa i zloupotrebe pojma
demokratije uinili su da je taj pojam postao kontroverzan, dvosmislen,
nedoreen, neodreen, difuzan, pa i konfuzan.2 Mnogo je razloga koji
su uticali na to da se pojam demokratije shvata (i danas) na razliite na-
ine, da nosi dosta nedoreenosti sa sobom, da se zloupotreblava i tome
slino. Ali evidentno je da je to pojam, iako mu se kroz istoriju pripisuju
razliiti sadraji, od kojeg se ne odstupa i kog se ne odriu ni oni koji
skrnave demokratiju i teorijski i praktino.

Iz tabela vidimo da je na celom uzorku fenomen sagoreva-
nja na poslu disribuiran na sledei nain: u kategoriji srednje ispoljeno
sagorevanje je najvei broj ispitanika (63,3%). Sledi kategorija izrazito
ispoljeno sagorevanje na poslu sa 17,5% i u kategoriji nisko ispoljeno sa-
gorevanje na poslu je najmanji broj ispitanika 16,7%.

INTENZITET SAGOREVANJA NA POSLU KOD NASTAVNIKA SREDNJE KOLE
Summary: The paper presents the results of the study of the frequency
and intensity of job burnout among teachers. The sample consisted of
120 examinees, who are teachers of different psychosocial characteri-
stics (marital status, work experience, gender, status at school- course
teacher vs. form master). Measuring instruments used in the study were
Teacher Burnout Scale (Seidman and Zager, 1986) and a questionnaire
of general characteristics of the respondents (marital status, work expe-
rience, gender, status at school- course teacher vs. form master). The
results indicate that there are no significant differences in the frequency
and intensity of manifestation of job burnout in relation to the psyc-
hosocial characteristics listed. It is evident that there are other factors
which have a dominant influence on the potential development of the
job burnout syndrome. This primarily refers to the teachers psycholo-
gical traits and their personality structure in general. The results will be
useful as a stimulus for further research of burnout syndrome in school
setting.

Jedan autor moe objaviti samo jedan rad godinje u asopisu. Objava
rada uslovljena je dobijanjem dve pozitivne anonimne recenzije i
preporuke recenzenata za tampu.
We invite all interested authors to submit papers in the field of social research if
it had not been published in other journals. Deadline for receipt of full papers
for the first issue is 01 April, and the second number is 01 October.
Contributors should submit their papers via Submissions web page http://
www.civitas.rs. Contributors are requested to include the Statement of
Originality when submitting their papers.
Only one paper by the same author may be published per year. CIVITAS will
publish only papers approved by reviewers. All papers are read in a double-
blind fashion by two reviewers who are experts in a relevant field.
Contributors are provided a copy of the journal containing their paper free of
charge.
The Editorial Board reserves the right to make alterations to the paper according
to the journal editing standards and to Serbian or English orthography.
All papers should include the following: the authors (authors) name and
surname (left alignment), and in the footnote (marked by asterisk) the
academic title, affiliation, and contact details for each author; the title of the
paper (bold, capitals, centred, font size 14); subheadings (bold, small capitals,
left alignment, marked in Arabic numerals).
Papers should include a short abstract in the same language (up to 15 lines)
and 5 key words (single, font size 11) above the body text.
Footnotes (if any) should be written with single line spacing, font size 10.
Footnotes may not cite references; the paper should contain in-text references
(APA citation style).
CITATION OF SOURCES
All direct or indirect reference to others work should be made in the form of
in-text parenthetical citations.
If indirect reference is used, only the authors name and the year of publication
should be indicated (Krev, 2009), without page numbers.
