1. Start Windows 98.

2. Insert Windows XP CD in the CD Drive/Writer. The CD will start

automatically and the following screen will be displayed.
Click wherever is shown.

3. Click on Install Windows XP.

4. In the Installation type, select New Installation and click Next.

5. License Agreement Screen will be displayed. Click on I Accept this

agreement and then Click Next.
6. Enter the Product key as shown and then click Next.

7. In this Setup Options screen, Click on Advanced Options.

8. Select both Copy all installation files from the Setup CD and
I want to to choose the install drive letter and partition during setup and
click OK

9. Then Click Next

10. Click on No. Skip this step and continue installing windows and
click Next.

11. Setup will Start copying the files. And it will restart itself after
copying.
