Typical specifications as follows : Appearance Clear, colourless liquid SG (20 °C) 13 pH (1% solution) 13 Solubility Miscible with water APPLICATION AND CONTROL AQUASHIELD BA 55 should be dosed continuously direct to the boiler shell or to the boiler feed system. Dosing equipment should be made of teflon, polythene, polypropylene or stainless steel. The product is non corrosive to materials normally used in dosing systems. The specific application requirements will depend on the operating characteristics of the individual system and the system water chemistry.
