Signature assignment

While taking fitness for life there wasnt much to relate from other course that Ive take through SLCC,

though there was some overlapping topics in when it came to stress. In precious psychology classes that

Ive taken there has been a fair reference to stress and the toll that it has on both your physical as well

as mental health. I think the coverage of stress in this class is very helpful further my college career as it

is something that is very present for me and knowing how to deal with it and acknowledge that being

physically active will help prevent manage stress, is very important for students. Not only was the

concept of stress in this class greatly relatable, but the way that youre taught to make goals and achieve

them. I really enjoyed the emphasis of goal and achievement in this fitness for life class as it can be

applicable to other classes as well, having something in mind to accomplish and knowing how to do so

can be hard, yet this fitness class lays it out for you step by step in the means of physical activity that can

be transferred into any type of goal, which will be very helpful throughout the rest of school and my life.

In terms of perception of fitness for life, I had a preconceived idea that the whole class would be

telling us various kinds of work outs and going over them blandly. This class, made explained what was

needed, healthy and how to accomplish goals as well as keep track of them and that is where I was very

wrong when it came to this class. I know understand the depths of reaching goals and keeping track of

them, especially in regards of how to track your plan and workout. The 1.5 mile assignment, to me
seemed very helpful and something that in the future will off to be aware of. In the future Im going to

continue to apply this technique properly throughout my life.
