learning outcome 2 is a Distinction Grade, even if you have achieved this, if there are any
minor corrections or additions, can you please ensure these are made.

the words Re-Submission.

Overall: You have conducted in-depth research into your radio broadcast and generated a suitable
idea as a consequence. However be sure to further investigate how you could attract a larger
target audience by exploring the presentation and opinions voiced within the programme.

LO1
Adam, make sure you proofread your work for minor spelling errors and use of capital
letters. You have demonstrated very good research into different UK radio broadcasters and
have covered all the key components for this learning outcome. Your audience profile is
detailed and you have applied uses and gratifications appropriately to Capital Radio. My
only suggestion is to tone down the use of coloured text as some elements can be
challenging to read.
LO2: Some great work here Adam. You have demonstrated good research skills when
generating ideas and planning your radio programme. Your proposed treatment is
detailed and you are aware of your programmes target audience. However you may want
to explore this in more detail and investigate how you could include news bulletins and
arguments which are balanced and impartial as to attract male listeners, subsequently
generating debate within your radio programme. You have also carefully planned the
financial aspects of your radio show whilst taking into consideration the funding
realistically available for a radio broadcaster. In addition, you have assessed the risks
associated with producing a radio programme which is complimented by a thorough
contingency plan should an incident occur during a period of production. In order to
improve you should focus on investigating the impact the gender of the
presenters/reporters have and how the reporting of gender inequality within sport is
perhaps broadcasted differently between males and females. Furthermore obtain

interviews from different genders and compare and contrast their views in order to create
a fair and balanced tone to your broadcast.
