To whom it may concern,
| am writing this letter of reference for Nicole Freeman. | have personally known Nicole for the last 12
years. Nicole was exceptional even when | met her at a young age. She enjoyed researching and reading
about various topics but she was particularly interested in learning about animals. Nicole was always
very expressive and well spoken. She would share her thoughts on topics with a maturity beyond her
years.
Learning and schoolwork have always come naturally to Nicole. She was frequently tasked with assisting
other students in class upon completion of her own work. Nicole has challenged herself academically
whenever she has identified an opportunity. She chose accelerated classes in both Middle School and
High School. Additionally, she has been taking college classes that provide her with both High School and
college credits simultaneously,
This year, Nicole began volunteering with an animal agency that attempts to find homes for orphaned
cats. She spends many weekends at a local pet store assisting in caring for the cats and introducing them
‘to potential families. She recently expressed a desire to increase her role with this agency by taking on
the responsibility of managing their website. She identified many areas of improvement that she feels
will better the opportunity to place cats in permanent homes. Her knowledge and compassion for
animals is evident when she shares her volunteer experiences,
Nicol
intelligent and a clear communicator. She learns quickly and can interact with people from
'd backgrounds. | believe that Nicole will excel and be an asset to any organization that she has a
role in. She has a lot to offer and will grow in any posttion.
Sincerely,
Lynette Trowbridge
