To Whom It May Concern:

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Jerry Sigala for a position in the program of
Education at the University of Texas at El Paso. I had the privilege of working with Jerry
at Clint High School in football as one of his coaches and as his teacher in the peer tutor
program during his junior and senior year. As a tutor working with special needs students
he demonstrated exemplary skills as a leader and developed an understanding that many
cannot truly appreciate. Upon graduation, Jerry volunteered his time working on the
football staff as an intern which required him to be with us 7 days a week. Jerry is a very
dedicated young man and very capable of doing any task that is put before him.

I have known Jerry since his freshman year at Clint high school. He excelled in all areas
of study and prepared himself for a career after high school. Jerry is a wonderful young
man that, given the opportunity, will work at a level that is expected of any Clint High
School graduate and will take advantage of every opportunity to learn and grow.

Jerry has always displayed a high degree of integrity, responsibility, and ambition. He
would be an asset to any organization, and I am happy to give him my endorsement for a
position in program of Education at the University of Texas at El Paso.
