Career Objective
By working towards obtaining my Bachelors Degree in Music Education, I hope to become as well-equipped as
possible to become a music educator who is successful in both teaching and inspiring students to pursue music to any

Work

PERCUSSION TECHNICIAN
I help teach the front ensemble of the Festival Class and Open Class IPA winter percussion ensembles at Ben Davis High
School in Indianapolis, IN, as well as Edgewood High School for their class A winter percussion ensemble in Elletsville,
IN.

PRIVATE LESSONS INSTRUCTOR


I have given an assortment of lessons, from a sporadic lesson or two to having a regular student over the course of a few
months. In Spring of 2016 I taught (regular) private percussion lessons at Hauser Jr.-Sr. High School in Hope, IN. In the
Fall of 2016 I taught (regular) private piano lessons For Kats Performing Arts Studio in Lincoln, IN.

CHURCH ACCOMPANIST
From 2012 to 2015, I regularly accompanied two churches: the New Market United Methodist Church and St. Bernards
Catholic Church, both in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Along with accompanying weekly services, I would also play for
Sunday School and various holiday and special services, including Christmas/Easter masses, funerals, and weddings.

FREELANCE MUSICIAN
In addition to playing piano in a traditional church setting, I also have done work as an accompanist for soloists, choirs,
other various small ensembles. I would accompany classmates for events such as Solo and Ensemble. In general, I like
to perform as both a soloist and ensemble member in both piano and percussion

I have marched during the summers of 2015 and 2016 as a vibraphonist for the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle
Corps.

INDIANA PERCUSSION ASSOCIATION KEYBOARD SOLOIST


For the Indiana Percussion Associations Keyboard Soloist Competition in the winter of 2014, I placed 1 st playing
Camlon by Eric Sammut on marimba.
