Pre-Writing for Future Authoring Essay

I have always wanted to help people. I dont believe anybody raised me to be this way- I

just am. I remember as a little kid walking through the city streets and seeing homeless people

begging for money. I would always give them some, even though my dad told me not to.

Growing up in the city, I have seen poverty at its worst possible levels. This has inspired me to

make a difference in my city and, eventually, the world. I am going to be a politician in

Pittsburgh because I want to start in the place that inspired me.

Aside from poverty, I also have always wanted to see equality in our country. Whether it be race,

gender, religion, or sexuality, watching people get treated differently because of those things was

painful. I believe a career in politics is the most efficient way to end these things.
